First Days of School : Raising-Hand Issue

Hello my beloved readers!
Here i am going to talk about my super duper true first exprerience in school. So, my first school was simply called TK PERTIWI or translated to be PERTIWI Kindergarten. My first impression about this school was that it was so so so darn ugly building. I even thought it was like my uncle’s pigeon ranch because we, literally, could see pigeons coming into our class.
Anyway i came from the ‘suburban’ part of my village so I knew basically none of  my classmates who seemed to have known each other. The reason why my parents sent me to that kindergarten was because i was so shy and one of the teacher there was their friend and I slightly knew her.
Unexpectedly a girl with  a curly hair and yellow skin raised her hand. Oh my world what the heck I didn’t know her I swore and I was sure she didn’t know me either. But the teacher somehow believed that we knew each other as she had the closest adress to my home.
Anyway believe it or not I got a kind of love at first sight with one of the boy there at AGE OF 4! On my first day of school! I honestly couldn’t get my eyes off him.  What a filthy girl I was. Oopss...
Forget about that weird first love thing. So, that curly little girl, Sheilla turned out to be my bestfriend. Noo... not that sweet and cute bestfriendship thing, it was more like love and hate relationship- We were deskmates in 1st and 4th on the elementary school.
One day our 4th grade homeroom teacher pointlessly asked if any of the students still slept with their parents. Suddenly Sheilla raised up her hand and immediately a whole class laughed so hard. She was even accused to still drink her mother’s milk. What a disaster.
When class was over I asked her why the heck she admitted it. I meant that moment I slept with my mom once in a while and i was sure there were a lot of another kids in our class that did the same but they didn’t admit it. Well, I mean we didn’t admit it. Why? Because we thought we were big already
“My mom always told me to raise my hand as often as possible” she answered.
“Even if you didn’t you’d still raise your hand?”
“Yeah, maybe. I don’t know why.”
Everything became clear that moment. She didn’t know me yet at that first day of school. I got reminded that there was another silly thing about raising-hand-issues that she did. It was in the kindergarten, our principal was teaching us a good habit to do before sleeping in the night.
“Don’t eat your snack after brushing your teeth before sleeping or you will have to brush them again.” That was what she said, “anyone here has candy inside your mouth right before going to bed?”
No one admited.
“Or maybe mendoan?” she asked for a joke.
Sheilla raised her hand. What a disaster!
If you don’t know what mendoan, let me tell you mendoan is kind of soya cake fried with flour until it’s half cooked. Even tough mendoan is known to be super tasty, keeping a piece of it inside your mouth right before going to bed is something out of our norm. Here's the picture to help you imagine how people doing that.
